Powersheds - Main Features
BASE
All garden sheds must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the shed a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. This is not included with a Powershed.
POWERSHED 10 YEAR GUARANTEE
Every Powershed is made to stand the test of time and comes with 10 year guarantee against timber rot, decay or insect infestation.
ADAPTABLE CONFIGURATION
Power sheds are made of modular panels so can be configured in different ways to fit your garden by simply positioning the door and window panels on any side when assembling the shed.
SCANDINAVIAN TIMBER
All Power sheds are made from high grade Scandinavian timber - 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove to give extra strength and durability.
HEAVY DUTY FRAMING
The shed's framing is made using 44 x 28mm batten with rounded corners. Screwing the panels together results in 44x56mm thick, double-strength framework.
CORNER BRACING
Internal corner bracing has been added to every wall panel to maximise strength and rigidity.
ROOF TRUSS SUPPORT
Roof trusses will stop shed roofs sagging even after years of use. Your shed will come with roof trusses to be installed at every 1.2m.
TOUGHENED SAFETY GLASS
Windows on Powersheds come with toughened safety glass as standard. The glass is already internally beaded and PVC sills complete the window units to prevent water ingress.
GALVANISED IRONMONGERY
Powersheds come with galvanised hinges, turn buttons and a door pull. This minimises oxidisation to protect from rust and other damage so the shed will last longer.
PREMIUM FELT
The shed is completed with high performing waterproof felt with special polyester backing ensuring it lasts longer and doesn’t tear or ripple easily.
ADVANCED PRESERVER
A special formula wood preserver has a vax additive meaning no additional protection is needed for one year. However, it is water based and has just the right amount of wax so it can be painted if you want to do so. Please make sure you check with the manufacturer of your paint/preserver to ensure it's suitable for use with our buildings.
