Back to Construction TimberOriginating in Canada (hence the name Canadian Lumber Standard) CLS timber has also grown in popularity in the UK. It is widely used in in construction particularly in carcassing, timber framework construction and internal partitioning. It is finished on all sides giving a smaller cross-section than traditional sawn timber , with rounded edges to help achieve the perfect finish and make it safe and easy to move. CLS timber comes in two grades C24 and C16 and it is available in a wide selection of sizes.
